Overview
Are you a master of visual storytelling who knows how to capture attention in the first three seconds? As a Social Media Video Editor for both PainPros and Abogados Americanos Staffing, you will be the creative engine behind our digital presence. You will manage the end-to-end post-production process, transforming raw media into high-impact narratives for two distinct brands: a leading US personal injury law firm and a premier staffing agency.
Working directly with leadership you will be responsible for executing specific creative visions, utilizing AI tools, and ensuring every piece of content is polished, professional, and optimized for engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Editing (60%)
Raw Footage Transformation: Edit raw video into polished, engaging content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Polishing footage by removing errors, stabilizing shots, and ensuring audio/video sync is flawless.
Creative Execution: Follow specific direction from the CEO to splice images, change camera angles, and enhance storytelling through pacing and flow.
AI Integration: Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance video quality, automate captions, or generate creative assets to streamline production.
Brand Differentiation: Adapt editing styles to fit two distinct voices: the authoritative, trustworthy tone of PainPros and the professional, energetic vibe of Abogados Americanos Staffing (AAS).
Graphic & Visual Design (20%)
Multimedia Enhancement: Modernize video content by adding high-quality graphics, overlays, and text animations that align with brand standards.
Asset Management: Organize and maintain a library of raw footage, B-roll, and finished assets for easy retrieval and repurposing.
Collaboration & Strategy (20%)
Direction & Feedback: Participate in regular syncs with CEO and Marketing/Sales to align on content goals and implement feedback on video drafts.
Trend Monitoring: Stay current on social media trends and algorithm changes to ensure videos are formatted for maximum reach and engagement.
Qualifications
2–4 years of experience as a Video Editor, specifically focused on social media or short-form content.
Proficiency with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve) and mobile-first tools like CapCut.
Experience using AI tools for video enhancement, voiceover, or asset generation.
A strong eye for composition, color grading, and "the hook" - knowing exactly how to grab attention in the first 3 seconds.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously for two different brands with distinct audiences.
Strong English comprehension to accurately follow creative direction and handle US-based legal/staffing content.
Interview Process
Portfolio Review: Submit samples of your best short-form work (TikToks, Reels, or Shorts).
Creative Interview: A technical session with the CEO to discuss splicing, AI integration, and camera angles.
Leadership Interview: A workflow and culture fit discussion with the Head of Marketing and Sales.
Edit Sample: You will be sent a raw video file to perform a sample short-form edit, demonstrating your speed and ability to follow specific branding instructions.
